DBSF is a Fellowship under Dominion Baptist Church Oyo, Oyo State. The church being led by our dear Father in the Lord Revd Ademola Ojetayo. The BSF is an Organization, a fellowship, and a ministry. It is an Organization of Baptist Students, a fellowship of Christian Students, and a ministry to all students.

Our Motto

And by this shall all men know that you are my disciple, if you love one another [John 13: 35] . This is a reminder that love and unity within the Christian community will portray us as true christians.

BSF Colour

The Colour of BSF is light leaf green, which stands for the physical, spiritual and intellectual growth of students. It shows that a succesful student needs to grow daily and steadily in all these areas of life.

BSF Objectives

To lead students to commitement to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord

To involve them in the study of biblical truth and Christian discipleship

To lead them to relate academic disciplines to their Christian faith

To involve them in responsible church membership; denominational understanding, and participation

To involve them in the study and practical participation in mission for kingdom expansion

Purpose

To plan and develop materials and services acceptable for use by campus organization, church-based-BSFs (like ours), Association, Conferences and Convention in: order to establish, strenghten and improve the ministry to students in schools of higher learning, and in churches. BSF plans activities in which students may experience meaningful relationships with fellow students; senior friends, and other Christians through which the experience of Christian community is deepened in fellowship. In fellowdhip, BSF memebers come to know themselves, as they belong to each other and to God.

Words Of Wisdom

Prayer is a sincere,
sensible, affectionate pouring out of the soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Spirit, for such things as God has promised.

You don't only celebrate
a great man when he is great, you celebrate greatness and success in the process, you participate in it, help one person today, tomorrow may be his own day.

Time is Priceless and free, you can't own but you can use it, you can't keep it but you can spend it. Once you've lost it, you can never get it back. A time well spent produces and add value to your life.

God speaks through
a variety of means. In the present God primarily speaks by the Holy Spirit, through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church.

In three words
I can sum up everything I've learned about life: "it goes on", hence i can only say Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about

The real test is not
whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. It's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.
